What is the difference between separate and integral hopper loaders?

In a separate vacuum hopper loader, the blower motor and the receiving hopper are independent units connected by a hose, making it more flexible and easier to service. In an integral loader, both are built as a single unit mounted directly on the machine throat.

What is the conveying capacity of Seaways’ vacuum hopper loader?

Our three models deliver 310 Kg/h (SMI-700G), 450 Kg/h (SMI-810G) and 500 Kg/h (SMI-810G2). Loading distance ranges from 4 m to 5 m, depending on the model.

Which one should I choose – carbon brush or induction motor?

Choose the carbon-brush motor (SMI-700G) for light to medium-duty production and clean virgin material. Choose the induction motor (SMI-810G / 810G2) for continuous operation, dusty regrind, or larger throughput requirements.

Can the hopper vacuum loader handle regrind material?

Yes. All Seaways models handle virgin granules, regrind, masterbatch and dried material. The 810G series is preferred for regrind because of its stronger induction blower and automatic dust-removal system.
