Use this simple formula: capacity = kg per hour × drying time × 1.2 safety margin. Example: a machine using 50 kg/hr of PET (4-hour drying time) needs 50 × 4 × 1.2 = 240 kg → choose a 250 kg dryer. Standard sizes are 25, 50, 100, 150, 250, 500, 750 and 1000 kg, plus custom sizes.
