Our plastic scrap grinder machines are designed to process runners, sprues and rejected plastic components into reusable regrind. The grinding system uses a rotor and bed knife arrangement to produce controlled particle sizes based on the selected screen.

What is plastic auxiliary equipment?
Plastic auxiliary equipment is the machinery that runs alongside your main injection moulding, extrusion or blow moulding machine. It handles the material before and around the moulding process including drying granules, feeding them into the hopper, mixing in masterbatch, controlling mould and water temperature, and grinding scrap back into usable regrind. Without it, your main machine can't produce consistent parts.
Which auxiliary equipment does Seaways manufacture?
We build seven categories in-house: hopper dryers (12-600+ kg), vacuum hopper loaders (up to 300 kg/hr), drying loaders, industrial chillers (1-30+ TR), mould temperature controllers (water up to 120°C, oil up to 200°C+), vertical batch mixers (25-500 kg) and central material feeding stations for up to 12+ machines. We also manufacture plastic scrap grinders from 50 to 500+ kg/hr.
Are you a plastic auxiliary equipment manufacturer or a trading company?
We are a manufacturer. Design, sheet metal fabrication, assembly and control panel wiring all done at our own facility in Rajkot, Gujarat. Nothing is bought in and rebadged. That's why we can control build tolerances, change a specification for your requirement, and support the machine ourselves years later instead of routing you to a third-party supplier.
Will your equipment work with the moulding machines I already have?
Yes. Auxiliary equipment is machine-independent. Our dryers, loaders, chillers, MTCs and mixers work with injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding machines of any make, Indian or imported. We only need your material throughput, plastic type and the machine's hopper and cooling connection details to match the unit correctly to your existing setup.
How do I know which capacity or size to order?
Tell us your production details. We size against material consumption per hour, the plastic you run (PET, nylon, PC, ABS, PP, PE), your shift pattern and your plant's ambient conditions. For a hopper dryer, the working rule is kg/hr × drying hours × 1.2. For chillers and MTCs, we calculate against mould cooling load. Send us your details and we'll size it for you.
Do you make custom-built equipment?
Yes. Capacity, heater load, tank size, controls and material path are specified against your requirement. We regularly build oversized units, special temperature ranges, multi-station loaders, PLC-controlled panels and grinders sized to your scrap volume. Custom builds usually take 4-6 weeks from order confirmation.
How is the price decided?
Price depends on capacity, build type (insulated or non-insulated), control system (analog or PLC), material of contact parts and any add-ons like desiccant drying or sound enclosures. Buying direct from us removes dealer and importer margins. Share your material, throughput and machine details and we'll quote a specific configuration.
Do you install and commission the equipment at our plant?
Yes. Our engineers travel from Rajkot to your site to install, guide electrical wiring, run the first production batch with your operators and hand over only once it's running correctly. Most standard units are commissioned within 24-48 hours. Dispatch is the next morning after order confirmation, with IGST documentation and e-way bills handled from our end.
What happens if something breaks down later?
We stock the machine spares. Heater elements, thermocouples, blower motors, contactors and control boards, so a fault doesn't hold your business for days. Annual maintenance contracts are available with scheduled preventive visits. Phone and remote support is available in the meantime.
